Bird of the Day

Western Tanager

Bird of the Day is an email list that I keep that displays each day, a wild bird that I have photographed with a short description of what it is and where I saw it. Most, but not all, of the photos come from my travels around my home on Whidbey Island. The list started early in 2018, when a couple of family members and friends were struggling with personal crisis in their lives. I offered to send them bird pictures to help relieve their distress. Others learned of the Bird of the Day and joined the list. As of this writing, there is now 301 Birders of the Day and climbing.

If you wish to be on the list all I need is your email. The list is free.
